General Admission: |
CHASSIS/BODY BODY: Any 4 cylinder car, or truck, bed cover or must have floor in bed, American or foreign (no rear engine cars). Front wheel drive allowed if originally built that way. All glass and plastic parts must be removed (windows, mirrors, door handles, trim, etc.). Interior and fender wells may be gutted. Floor pan must be complete and stock. Doors must be fastened securely shut. A hole may be cut in the hood for breather and pins must replace latch. Body parts may be replaced by aluminum or sheet metal, aftermarket bodies allowed. Must have stock factory type bumper. NO NERF BARS ALLOWED. A steel screen must cover at least ½ of windshield in front of the driver.PRO 4 CARS MUST LOOK LIKE CAR BODYS,NO MODIFIED BODYS ALLOWED.FRAME: Must be stock and X’d outside underneath drive shaft.PRO 4 TUBE CHASSIS ALLOWED MUST WEIGH 2700 POUNDS SUSPENSION: Must be stock and in stock location. Weight jacks OK. REAR END: Must be stock. Allowed to be locked. Reese bar or 3rd link allowed. Ride height 4 1/2 inches Racing shocks and springs allowed. BRAKES: All four wheels must be totally operational and stock. WHEELS: 8" Maximum width STEEL wheels only (no aluminum). TIRES: Any tire allowed that fits in the tire hoop. NO BEAD LOCKS...ENGINE: 2-barrel carburetor - 500 CFM max. Single CAM. No fuel injection. Headers allowed Generator, alternator, and power steering optional. No aluminum heads. If electric fuel pump is stock you must also have a low oil pressure cut off. Automatic transmission allowed. Starter and clutch must be operational. Adjusted CAM gear allowed. OEM TRANSMISSION ONLY. Motor must be in stock location. GAS ONLY.. No Alcohol, Nitro, or additives. 8-12 gal. Fuel Cell only. Mounted with steel can securely in rear with at least 2 bars over tank. NO FUEL FRAGRANCES WEIGHT: 1 pound per cc. Example: 2300cc must weigh 2300 lbs. Must weigh a minimum of 2000 lbs. * Max 2580 cc PRO 4 CARS MUST WEIGH MINIMUM 2700LBS ROLLCAGE: 4 POINT MAIN CAGE: Main cage must be made of Minimum 1 ½", .095 tubing (NO WATER PIPE). Attached to unibody frame stubs LEFT SIDE: 4 BAR minimum. 3 upright spacers with gussets. RIGHT SIDE: 2 BAR minimum. 2 upright spacers with gussets. ROOF SUPPORT BAR: Corner brace from left front to right rear. WING GLASS BAR ON BOTH SIDES. 3/16" hole on driver’s side upright for test. May use bars to protect engine and radiator. DRIVER’S COMPARTMENT: Must have front and rear firewalls, with all holes sealed. Battery must be enclosed in battery box, securely strapped in and located behind driver’s seat. Must have aluminum racing seat. Must have 5 point racing belts no more than 3 years old. Must have window net. Must have fire extinguisher and kill switch within reach of driver.
